Introducing a New Line of Hardened, Re-usable, ‘Duplex’ Screws to the Form Setting Industry

All our fasteners are ‘purpose-made’, to do one job and do it perfectly.

They aren’t Screws in the traditional sense, because they are hardened and made to be used again and again, so COST PER USE drops to almost nothing.

Leading with, the 'Big Johnson'

Diagram of re-usable screw and measurements showing length of shaft is 2 7/8" and threads are 1 1/4" with a 5/16th" head

Standing at an overall length of 3-3/4" (including the 3/4" 'duplex' head) with the shank's over-all length of 2-7/8", it is perfectly suited for 2x to 2x connections.

Coming soon, the 'Little Johnson'

Made for steel stake to LVL form connections, will sport the same High Hat ('Duplex') square-drive head for easy location and removal post-pour.

Up next is the Johnson 'Bridge Buddy'

A hefty boy made for heavy timber set-up.  Like all Johnson Tools (they look like screws, but they ain't), the Bridge Buddy will be made to do one job and do it right.

Many more fit-for purpose fastening devices and systems are on Mr. Johnson's drafting board, and you can expect to see products made to provide threaded embeds in the line-up.

Our
brand vision

Carpenter Designed

We built this tool for our own jobs….crappy little screws bug us…so we bit the bullet, designed our Tool and had it made.  Cold-Headed, not lathed, Hardened, clear upper shank to allow it to act like a wood screw, chisel point and High Hat Head, with almost unlimited re-uses, the Big Johnson has a Price-Per-Use Many, Many,  Many times less than any other.
